Mike Warburton wins today's Photo of the Week for his outstanding Eurasian Goshawk portrait:
It was good watching the local Pink-feet earlier this week and not too difficult to find some nice Tundra Beans amongst them, especially when there was a total of 18 amongst them! Also 3 Russian White-fronted Geese with this group.
Little Owl ‘singing’ from our garden this evening. Reminiscent of Scops Owl #ukbirding #cheshirebirding
The referee and VAR are awful. A definite penalty for Egypt (anywhere else on the pitch that’s a foul!) followed by a free kick for barely any contact on Doku!? #Belgium #Egypt
A grand day in northwest Norfolk, with a good movement of passerines along Hunstanton cliffs followed by Great Grey Shrike in the nearby dunes and a fine display of Bog Beacon and my first ever Red-headed Pine Sawfly (a female) in the woods at Dersingham
Central India trip report is now up and online www.oriolebirding.com/wp-content/u... @oriolebirding.bsky.social
A few pics from a recent visit up to the Scottish Highlands. Plus spectacular views of a 2 close Golden Eagles during a 20km hike…no camera! 😀
I’m going to enjoy watching the FIFA Club World Cup on TV, but the whole economic model and pricing is a disgrace, is FIFA still as corrupt as ever!? $1000 a game ticket prices??! Plus official FIFA resale of tickets & taking a cut?!
Shame on you.

So all I’ve heard is 6 US serviceman have died on mainstream media. Whatever your opinions on the war, the tragic deaths of school children & teachers in Iran should be equally portrayed. @bbcnews-world-rss.bsky.social @nbcnews.com @nbcnews.com
