It seems obvious but needs saying that most of Labour's core vote is fundamentally opposed to the far right. Failing to fight back against it rioting on Britain's streets will leave many of those supporters wondering what the point of having a Labour government is.

So the real threat to national security is immigration and not paramilitary groups carrying out a pogrom against minorities on the basis of race. Good to know.

This is why I opted for EU settled status in the UK even though we were reassured that Irish people wouldn't need it. You cannot trust perfidious Albion.
