After my botched attempt to race 5k a few weeks ago, I tried a threshold 5k instead … and ended up with a PB (32:20)! 🎉
Seems like my running by feel method works for me.
I’m not sure if racing is good for me, but threshold is fine, so perhaps my new goal will be a sub-30 threshold 5k. 🤔

I might get into trouble for it later, but I ran a 10k fartlek with 180 m (590 ft) total climb today (my second 10k ever). I had lots of fun.
First run with soft flasks in the running vest. Lots of mud, many fallen tree obstacles, some very steep places, few people, no dog incident. 🎉

I’m so very tired of it all right now.
(AI, wars, cruelty against migrants, climate change, corporate and rich people’s greed, broken systems, people not using the brains they’ve been given, there not being enough hours in the day, personal health stuff, having to turn the heating back on in mid June … the list goes on and on and on.)
