Listening to The Prince of Egypt soundtrack while I clean the house today for… reasons. I don’t believe in God or the Moses story any longer, but if I did, today’s weather report for DC would definitely look like a grand smiting from above. I am here for it.
Someone explain to me why they put the letters up quite quickly with just a few little lifts, but to take them down they need a full scaffolding? Have they heard of gravity? Off is easier than on. Also, they’re in violation of the court order now… It’s past midnight.

Oh now they want a 12 hour stay because of “weather.” Uh… they’re under a roof and it is no longer raining. This is comically absurd.
A much needed reminder. Rest is resistance. I’m going to take this advice and read a book poolside for the rest of the afternoon. It’s called self-care.
