Als Vijlbrief wil dat dat vakbonden meedenken dan geven ze die 44+ miljard aan werknemers- en werkgeverspremies maar terug aan de sociale partners. Dan tuigen we de oude bedrijfsverenigingen weer op en gaan we de WW en de WIA wel weer zelf doen, net als vroeger.

Veelzeggend over de mate waarin de vervolging van transen wordt genegeerd: Burnham is, net als bijna de voltallige Britse politiek, voor de segregatie van transen, maar hier wordt hij doodleuk omschreven als iemand die "sociale rechtvaardigheid" wil bevorderen.
