This. The real threat with fascism is not it becoming an entrenched, stable power structure, it's how many people it can kill, maim, throw in camps, etc. before the house of cards collapses.

we will win eventually because the far right doesn’t actually have a way to build a stable society in its image, so all they can do is inflict massive suffering and then collapse. But they cannot actually make it 1950, or 1890, or anywhere else in the past ever again.
