New co-authored chapter alert! What if we think of institutional ignorance as a practice and achievement rather than a failure? Using the case of the US military's responses to civilian casualty allegations as an example, we develop suggestions for researching organized ignorance. 1/
The ESIL IG on IL & Tech has done an amazing job in putting together such a fascinating program. And more importantly, the conveners succeeded in inviting Francesca Albanese and Eyal Weizman to speak at FU Berlin - a courageous move that makes our participation at ESIL possible. Thank you!
This cutting edge program will surely be a highlight of the coming international law conversations in Berlin this fall. Among other perspectives, I will get to present for the first time my evolving project on critical legal metaphorologies of the sea.
