They all smoke, it’s hard not to have at least a few puffs a day with the lives they lead. But coupled with an oral fixation that Reno’s had since Rude first met him as a teen, they learned the candy bowl was a far less destructive habit for their volatile redhead.
The Turks have a little bowl of hard candy on their tiny office coffee station, that Rude and Tseng essentially take turns keeping filled with mints and hard candy. Not just for a sweet treat, but to help keep Reno’s mind focused on work, and his mouth away from cigarettes.

And if there’s enough of the same prevailing emotion, like say excitement at a concert, or that natural worry and fear at a doctor’s office, then Reno can feel and even be influenced by those emotions even without the need for touch.
And if Reno isn’t careful (or caring) then his prey can feel absolutely drained and exhausted afterwards, and it can take up to a month for them to feel like their emotions are balanced.
But he’d hate to make Rude feel like that so I think it’d be more like a loop forming for their love 💕
Ooooo good question ✨✨ I feel like Rude’s slowly but surely gotten him a lot better about eating fruit/enjoying fruit flavor over the years, and I think he’d be the type to enjoy sour and spicy candy as well. I’d say he’s very picky about apple flavors, and usually won’t touch anything too minty.
