The Turks have a little bowl of hard candy on their tiny office coffee station, that Rude and Tseng essentially take turns keeping filled with mints and hard candy. Not just for a sweet treat, but to help keep Reno’s mind focused on work, and his mouth away from cigarettes.
They all smoke, it’s hard not to have at least a few puffs a day with the lives they lead. But coupled with an oral fixation that Reno’s had since Rude first met him as a teen, they learned the candy bowl was a far less destructive habit for their volatile redhead.
