It was obvious when I was a postgrad student 20 years ago that executive greed was going to kill the sector. Permanent academic jobs were replaced by low paying casual work, but the exec paychecks for execs/admin got fatter.
WHY does dictate capitalise verbs & pronouns?! And WHY does it put an 's on a plural. I realise that many speakers don't know better & will put an 's on a pl noun but I wld like them to think about what is missing before the s? There's no letter missing is there? So you don't need a fucking '! DAF.
