Crews monitor forecasts and, when necessary, will apply anti-icing materials (i.e. brine) to the road to limit the buildup of ice.
During snowfall, crews focus on plowing and applying material to major roads like Crowchild Trail, Glenmore Trail, Macleod Trail and Memorial Drive.
On behalf of the City of Calgary, we extend our deepest condolences on the passing of Baldev “Charlie” Singh Sangha. Charlie’s life reflected the very best of the immigrant journey in Canada. #yyccc
