CBS tried to steal some thunder from NBC's popular SUNDAY MYSTERY MOVIE by airing MANNIX and BARNABY JONES against it 1973-74.
CBS even promoted it as the "The Mystery Double Feature"!
And it worked. BARNABY JONES (which debuted Jan '73) became a hit and aired for 8 seasons. #TVSky
