Not only a great painter, the late David Hockney had the most engaged and enquiring mind of his generation of artists. He never stopped experimenting and, like Picasso, brought passion and exactitude to every medium he touched. His sense of colour was spectacular but I truly loved his drawings.
RIP

DISCLOSURE DAY is smart spectacle w/ the soul of an old-school, all-ages summer blockbuster.
And seeing it on glorious 70mm w/ a sold-out, opening day crowd at a theater I've been going to since 1994 made me feel gleefully nostalgic.
A real "movies are back" moment! Get out and see this! #FilmSky

Shot composition, pacing Sellers' performance.
All perfect.
But the masterstroke: Scoring it with Eumir Deodato's Grammy-winning jazz rendition of Strauss' "Zarathustra"
Genius.
