The Best Of Percy Sledge on Atlantic. Nice copy, but needs a thorough clean to remove some sticky gunk.

Chicane - Far From The Madding Crowd
Yungblud self titled 3rd album signed and sealed.
Two to keep. Two to sell on
#5debutalbumsSF1 The Libertines - Up The Bracket (2002) A breath of fresh air on release. Energetic garage origins, with English rock DNA running through its pulsating veins. Barat and Doherty push each other to new songwriting heights. #NowPlaying
#5debutAlbumsSF1 ABC - The Lexicon Of Love (1982) The quintessential orchestral synth pop album. It must have been a template for Pet Shop Boys and many others. Briliant socially aware lyrics throughout. Could do quite well. #NowPlaying
#5debutalbumsSF1 Leftfield - Leftism (1995) I always forget just how good this is. Tribal dub with *ahem* left field collaborators such as John Lydon, Toni Halliday and, Earl Sixteen. Multicultural mash up in what was a great year for innovative EDM.
#5debutalbumSF2 Aztec Camera - High Land Hard Rain (1983) The precocious talent, Roddy Frame was just 19 when this fully formed, joyous LP was released. What an ear for melody and song structure. More hooks than a fisherman's tackle box. Best track - Oblivious #NowPlaying #VinylCommunity
#5debutalbumsSF1 Pale Saints - The Comforts Of Madness (1990) A hot 4AD property in 1990. It never quite happened for them. Their truncated legacy is this slice of dreamy, diaphanous ballads, and falsettoed rockier numbers. Best track - You Tear The World In Two #NowPlaying
#5debutalbumsSF1 Portishead - Dummy (1994) A mesmerising, off-kilter daze of an album. For best track Roads alone this could be in my top 5. Still gets an absolute hammering nearly a third of a century later. Stunning, in the true sense of the word, trip hop album. #NowPIaying
#NowPlaying #5debutalbumsSF1 Gram Parsons - GP (1973) Country isn't my go-to genre, but then every genre has elite acts that cross over and resonate with all of us. The harmonies and songwriting are excellent here, and he adds blues and breezy soul touches to rise above the usual C&W dirge.
#5debutalbumsSF1 Bjork - Debut (1993) Bjork, freed of the constraints of an, albeit fascinating, rock band, spread her creative wings. With Nellee Hooper, she developed a fascinating & imaginative world, giving her extraordinary voice full rein. Still sounds otherworldly. #NowPlaying
#5debutalbumsSF1 #albumoftheday DJ Shadow - Entroducing (1996) Woven from a thousand samples and the unlimited imagination of an utter genius. Innovative and unfollowable. So good I got the deluxe reissue. Best track - Building Steam With A Grain Of Salt #NowPlaying
