Hello from L.A., an enormous and diverse city.
L.A. includes wealthy white enclaves where people thought Pratt was a serious candidate. The majority of us are neither wealthy nor white.
Also, our ballots are too complex for anyone to make serious choices while standing in a voting booth.

9/ This is an enormous reminder that eradication isn't permanent without continued investment. We eliminated screwworm. I said it last week and I'll say it again- keeping threats at bay requires funding, surveillance, expertise, and long-term commitment. Prevention only works when we keep doing it.
