I did try to find it down there, but the parents are calling from an area with really dense vegetation (aka an excellent place to tuck a new fledgling) so I went back to my nest vigil instead
The babies in the nest are so subdued too, not really begging or flapping like they were yesterday, makes me wonder if a lot of the ruckus was initiated by the oldest sibling that is now possibly tucked in the park behind the house
Still some babies in the nest but it looks like only three of four and noticeably different behavior from the parents (spending way more time in the nearby ravine, calling a lot, just sitting up next to the nest rather than provisioning) that makes me thinking we've had successful fledge of 1 of 4
