I wish Starmer dealt with Reform like this
Just 4 days to go till I give my talk about Bumblebees in Stirling! Do please come along if you are in the area - or pass the details on to anyone you know who might be interested. Ticket and details below: www.tickettailor.com/events/madei...
The immediate recession didn't happen, but the long-term economic damage was spot on. A decade after voting Leave, the Guardian's charts prove our economy is smaller, trade is throttled, and households are thousands of pounds worse off. Absolute self-sabotage. 🇬🇧💸👇

How Brexit has made Britain poorer – in charts

Thank you random bench, gazing out over the gunmetal grey sea on the slopes between Whitstable and Herne Bay, on an otherwise melancholy Sunday afternoon, you've made me smile.
Masses of Ragged Robin now in the field margins where I live: feathery red-green leaves and tiny pink flowers. It's one of nature's healers. I made a poultice of this with marsh woundwort and it cured my daughter's impetigo on her knee that wouldn't heal with medical creams (*if in doubt see a GP*)

Merz: "Ukraine has been defending its freedom for more than 4 years." (AfD members laughing) Merz: "That’s telling sign, ladies and gentlemen. They laugh about it, they laugh about fate of millions of people in Ukraine and they travel to Moscow for their champagne receptions."
