that’s a real good idea!! also damn i can see using a tablet being nice, but imaginey death grip would be unstoppable there 😂

this is so fucling hottttt shut upppp
i have a warrior splint (custom moulded by a PT) for each wrist that i got for drawing and crochet. but mouse work when rigging hurts up my forearm as well, and the warriors tend to make me ache even more when im rigging😔
any #live2d riggers have tips for wrist and arm pain? my mouse arm is supported by armrests that are perfectly in line with my desk but i can never rly get comfortable, always pained in some way.
might just be because i death grip whenever im concentrating 😭 can’t stop my whole body tensing up
i trawled reddit and found two very intersting things i'm going to try:
1. keep arms closer to the body, not across the desk for support. closer is less strain on the shoulder
2. change mouse settings to a higher dpi and learn to control the mouse with just fingers. keep wrist planted!!
i was too scared to make the jump to a proper vertical mouse so i went halfway!! 😂 i use the mx master 3, i really like it and it's helped a lot already, but i don't know how it compares to an actual vertical one. really reeeeeally good to know another rigger (deathgrip too!!) finds them helpful 🥺
i am coooonstantly wriggling around trying to find The Comfortable Spot with my arm stretched away from me. reading this and holding my elbows in close immediately soothed so much discomfort omg
the mouse thing is already a lot to get used to but i have a feeling it's gonna be game changing
