I don’t think people realise what’s happening in CAP negotiations: proposals from farm groups and EU politicians would shift public funding away from small and marginal farms to the largest, most intensive operators, risking causing the collapse of farming in most of the country.
Cats are a serious issue for nature conservation. Responsible pet ownership has to mean more than good intentions. It should mean real limits, including keeping cats indoors at dawn, dusk, and night, when evolution has tuned them into devastating hunters.
