Went out for a quick ride. But winds were much more blustery than I had realized so I cut it short and stuck to more sheltered aquatic park loop.
I hadn't realized they were taking down all the trees along the park side of the railroad (mostly eucalyptus, so probably major fall/fire hazards).
Some friends are in remote parts of the norcal red flag zones. I figured I'd check @watchduty.org and keep an eye out on conditions.
Second @alertcalifornia.bsky.social webcam I randomly happened to look at in the region had smoke in it 🤦♂️
(cam had been re-oriented, so it's a known event)
I keep getting ads for all these private boutique health services that want to sell you million body scans and tests.
The latest highlighted that they offer "radiation-free" MRI scans, like it's a rare offering. I mean, sure they do, but so does every other MRI facility. I cried some physics tears.
