How awful that people are living in these conditions.
This is the Republican playbook: Spread conspiracy theories about election fraud & vote counting when Democrats win while fully embracing that exact same vote count in the exact same election for races where Republicans win.
The morning is heating up fast here in Berkeley -- almost 70 already, forecast to pass 80 by noon. π
I worry this kind of garbage online could have major negative impacts on basic science literacy. Some young kid is searching questions to fill their curiosity, and there is just going to be more and more of this.
Absolutely vile rhetoric coming from the DHS secretary, condoning violence on the streets of Belfast and encouraging the same in the US.
Or, in his speech style -- most racist of the racist, most xenophobic of the xenophobic.

Beautiful but overcast trip to the monterey area recently. Spent an afternoon enjoying Point Lobos State Natural Reserve & its gorgeous coastal geology, monterey cypress trees, wildlife, and wildflowers.
The cormorants seemed to really like nesting on the ledges eroded in the sedimentary cliffs.
