This spring I had the chance to go to Normandy and follow in the footsteps of the men who were tasked with opening Dog-1 on Omaha Beach — the landing dramatized in Saving Private Ryan.

Nice get to find the original covers! These are now being re-released with new titles, and there’s also a novella out there, too! (The novella is included as an appendix to the new book 1.)

Well, I finished @michaellivingston.com’ “The Ark and the Empire,” and all I can say is that all three volumes of the series are now on order in h/b editions. A great read, the p/b version of which will be gifted to a likely friend in the coming days. #BookSky

@michaellivingston.com maybe too late for the next Q&A, but are there any specific battles/conflicts that you wish you had more information. For example 7th or 8th century Anglo-Saxon conflicts where the only info is something like "the King of Northumbria was killed"
@michaellivingston.com listened to your Q&A episode and you and Kelly mentioned a bar in Charleston. My family and I are taking a vacation there in July and my wife and I get a kid free date night. Any suggestions?
