NEW: Corshelle Jenkins was falsely charged with a crime + a warrant issued for her arrest. It was clear mistaken identity but a judge said there were no available lawyers for her. The charge would stay + she had no way to fight it She's 1 of 1000s in Oregon trapped in criminal cases without lawyers
I am so excited for what this will mean for evidence-based education policy in Oregon and the opportunities it will create for Oregon kids! graduate.lclark.edu/live/news/58...

Sometimes (human/animal) social groups split into two (or more). Team departures in corporate firms, political party splits, religious schisms, software forks, etc. Let's study this. I hire a predoc or a postdoc on social group splits. www.sciencespo.fr/axpo/events/...

I watched a kid get hit by a car as he pedaled into the street. The driver committed suicide. This was a lack of civil infrastructure. A median was installed after. Please fuck off with your idealistic fervor dream of perfect performance in every situation.
