Lois is nodding off at her desk after pulling an all nighter.
She did sleep well wrapped in a warmth her subconscious knew like her own skin.
She stretched her legs when her alarm went off and flicked the screen off with a finger.
"You were out late, stuck in interdimensional traffic?"
She has accepted this is her life now...
She wool let him lay atop her until she has to make dinner or get back to work.
She nodded making q mental note to look into it. Knowing him if there was a story there he already had the by line locked in.
"I thought the detective was in Gotham... either way glad you could help."

She laughed and kissed him gently. "Look if something ever happened to me I know you would figure it out... just don't tell Clark I like giving him a hard time."
She got up to make coffee but the "Awwwwwwwwe" was audible as soon as she saw the flowers.
If I had x-ray vision I definitely would have peeked.
"Your track record with non human entities is dubious at best... please vegans... you know I can be a bigger thorn in your side than wannabe PETA grifters."
She's proud of that.
