She laughed and kissed him gently. "Look if something ever happened to me I know you would figure it out... just don't tell Clark I like giving him a hard time."
She got up to make coffee but the "Awwwwwwwwe" was audible as soon as she saw the flowers.
She nodded making q mental note to look into it. Knowing him if there was a story there he already had the by line locked in.
"I thought the detective was in Gotham... either way glad you could help."

Lois is nodding off at her desk after pulling an all nighter.
Her apartment she was dressed in a light blouse and jeans different than her normal attire. Less dressed to impress more comfortable.
Violet eyes focused on him "Bruce!" She hugged him warmly seeing the flowers.
"Came all this way to see little me?"
She smiled as he hugged her.
"Oooo business looking to cause trouble for Lex you know if that is the case I am always happy to lend a hand."
she smiled at him taking the flowers and trotted into the kitchen to put the flowers in water.
She smiled showing him the ring it was modest,
