This project has been a long journey for the lab @taijamakinenlab.bsky.social , A thread.
Using faithfull recombination reporters such as iSuRe-Cre and iSuRe-HadCre alleles developed by @ruibenedito.bsky.social we noted VEGFR2 deficient cells didn't contribute to the developing lymphatic capillaries and only resided in the collecting vessel network present at induction.

The ERC’s new decision is deeply damaging and should be reversed ASAP. There are better and creative ways to manage rising applications. A 2–3 year block in applications is unacceptable in fast-moving science — especially for young scientists.
