The McCallum connection is unverified though. The actual name in my family is Cullum, but my grandpa has a letter from his grandmother that states her family changed the name to that when they moved to England. She doesn't say what it used to be, but Cullum IS a common anglicization of McCallum.
I had a long call with my dad this afternoon (he knows a lot more about our family history than I do, him being Mormon & all), and apparently I do have Scottish heritage in a couple different family lines. I tie back to the Monteiths directly, and there's a strong chance I'm also a McCallum.
Why am I so adamantly against AI in video game development, even as "just a placeholder"? Because you can't publish video game art books that will go on to inspire generations of young developers and artists with prompt slop.
