2/2 but i’ve now sat through 3 different essays in which Michel Nkuka Mboladinga is mentioned, but none has noted that his stance is an artistic and patriotic art piece celebrating dignity, freedom, and national sovereignty and that his pose perfectly mimes the famous statue of Patrice Lumumba
i just think it’s incredibly powerful and beautiful and i kinda wish the big names talking about football right now (*cough - john green - cough*) had given his art a little bit more of a shout out than just noting it as a weird and kinda funny thing that happens at DR Congo matches
it's much more akin to mole than thai peanut sauce. it's very spicy, and the peanut flavor is subtle, there's just a richness that it imparts. there's a kick of acid from vinegar, but not much, and it's nicely balanced by a punch of sugar. it's thinner than satay peanut sauce too
Perfect gift by @fwmj.bsky.social if you've been banned from MSG by a nepotism clown or hate rich failsons owning civic institutions.
