Us having too little money to afford to live a decent life is the direct result of the very wealthy having too much money. That's why in years past, when our parents or grandparents lived in times of much higher taxes on the wealthy, they could afford to live pretty well, well enough.

The guy reeked of booze and was obviously really drunk. I get along pretty well with most everyone. I felt like he was a drunk dangerous guy and I felt super threatened like when I was in high school and a bully picked a fight. I was ready for a fight to break out. But I walked away. Still...
I was just at the market and I go up to the counter to find a candy bar I like and this drunk 20 yr old kid says Whats up, homie? I said not too much, how are you doing. Trying to be friendly. He says why you coming up on me like that, why you have to be so close. Another aisle opened up so I left
It felt pretty shitty. I have CPTSD so I was totally triggered by it and it has taken a while for my nerves to settle. It makes me not want to go out around people anymore.
I always enjoy being around people and have great conversations with everyone in positive ways.
This guy makes a hell of a lot of good sense.
