I remember when I was in jr high, I'd draw the BOC logo on my notebook and sometimes my desk :/ Sorry, but it's where my head was at. We'd save up for albums and to improve our hi-fi stack. Getting lost in the music, forgetting about school & parents' rules, and fights with siblings.
Its so important to take breaks from the madness.
and another thing I really loved was yeah, there were lots of gray hairs like me and my bro, but there were also young kids there rocking out too. A whole new generation of BOC fans :)
During one of the songs, I was really feeling it (not edibles!) lol, the music! And I'm looking at the ground with my eyes closed and I open my eyes and there's this tiny baby in its onesy pjs crawling on all fours by my feet and moving fast! His momma picked him up, but I thought I was tripping! 😂
actually had me up on my feet singing and dancing. :)
We need the working class to unite, not just here in the U.S. but all over the world. We need it now.
On the way out of the concert I high-fived this guy as we were all still cheering and I told him they were even better than when I saw them in '81. He smiled & said he saw them in 77! I said you must be older than me. He said he was 80. He looked pretty damn good for 80. Rock n' roll keeps us young.
we can put it in one box with rabit ear antenna on top and a dial for changing channels. Then we can all walk around to the back of it and unplug it forever!
We just got back from the county fair and we had a blast!
We went there primarily to see and hear one of our favorite rock bands, Blue Öyster Cult! Got to see them for the price of admission to the fair, too. And it was a small concert area filled with great people jamming to our favorite tunes! 🎸
