I was privy to the start of ebook publishing in Canada a long time ago, and it's my opinion the publishing industry on the whole has completely messed up the selling of ebooks right from the beginning and hasn't stopped messing up ever since. Especially where libraries are concerned.
The Author’s Guild should probably understand that libraries…buy books. And that pretty well all authors would rather their books be read than not, whether there is income involved or not.
