The book is really good. My wife is reading it now and loving it too. Although I should warn you: the book may require updates every few months now. Tara Dower crushed the Appalachian Trail FKT in 2024, and Rachel Entrekin won overall at Cocodona 250.

Just finished the Santa Fe Institute course on complexity.
@melaniemitchell.bsky.social Complexity: A Guided Tour once reshaped how I saw science and nudged me from experimental physiology toward modeling. The path hasn’t been easy, but this course and learning NetLogo renewed my motivation.
