Got out of the city to the cottage for the weekend with friends. VACATION MODE: ENABLED
I empathize with all PR folks, especially during a hectic week like SGF. They deserve a lot of grace, amongst massive pressure to get everything right.
But, to say "once they see how great the game is" raises a lot of red flags. It's like they want to sweep GenAI under the rug, hoping we forget it.
I always want to make sure that no matter what game I'm playing, everyone can play. It's been my life's work and passion and to celebrate and represent the inclusive part of Magic where everyone has a seat at the table is an amazing honour that I don't take lightly.
This is what Destiny was to me. A story of Guardians coming together to protect the people and the system they call home. As one of those Guardians, I salute all those who came before and will live long after the game is gone.
