3 years ago the destructive Corsica derecho occurred, with a wind gust of 224 km/h measured by a station on a hill at 515 m altitude. @meteofrance.com's Ajaccio radar had a fantastic view at the system when it approached Corsica, showing very high radial wind speeds and multiple mesovortices.
Very interesting looking supercell in southern Croatia currently. Sadly the velocity data is barely usable here.
