This is worth checking out for real
Which means my Songs About Bob Dylan playlist has now reached an even 50
No shade to Outlander as it comes to an end but I'm glad I decided to visit Scotland before it became a whole thing
The Dylan feed continues to pay dividends. Now either this post is written wrong or I'm reading it wrong bc as far as I can tell Bob Dylan didn't work with Dorian Electra on their (excellent, trippy) cover of Tambourine Man but Frost Children did release an (also very good) song called Bob Dylan...
The best is this Public Enemy track I'd forgotten about where @chuckdpe.bsky.social plants himself firmly in Dylan's lineage, complete with a dizzying array of deep cut references
Kid Rock lives where now?
It occurred to me to try this tool to find more songs for my songs about Bob Dylan playlist but it didn't do very well. Missed most of the ones I'd already collected and the new ones it found were largely songs with quick references rather than songs actually about him. But it did have two that work
I'll be deleting the Spotify-generated playlist above soon, but here's my better one, now with 52 songs

Scotland is really one of the most beautiful places I've been to. I hope there are still parts of it that don't feel overrun.
