Why’d he lie about it then so plainly say they were lies? He could’ve just said I had plans but they couldn’t work, no one wou”d know he wasn’t telling the whole truth
Compared to how NASA, ESA and even Blue Origin answered with absolutes about their upcoming schedules (even if Blue Origins only real absolute plan was only to rebuild the pad they blew up) SpaceX’s representative was suspiciously general when listing what’s ready and when it’s launching.

RTD didn’t have to say anything, the BBC already covered the essentials, so why did he throw fuel on the fire by revealing he’d been lying for month then get defensive about the backlash he’d inevitably cause. The guys either stupid or likes being the focus of fan disappointment and anger.
The Christmas special’s never been possible, RTD openly admitted he’s been lying about having plans for months, there was no reason to regenerate or introduce Billie Piper and the BBC is only now shopping the show around FFS, it’s embarrassing. #doctorwho
The guys really misjudged the tone he should be going for here, ppl will be upset, you’d expect RTD to sound sad not full of false positivity and defensiveness.
