I often forget to show pictures of my garden... particularly because a lot of it is pretty chaotic... and I don't like seeing how neglected some of it is... but the plants in our new raised beds have been growing really well... and a few flowers are starting to appear...
If I ruled the world... I would ban house alarms... and car alarms... their only purpose seems to be to draw attention to the fact that you have expensive possessions... protected by a noisy alarm... nobody does more than roll their eyes when they go off... and it's a very intrusive sound...
I only went down the garden... but couldn't resist a quick #10MinutesInTheGarden... chopping a few things back... and getting the heavy hammock frame... and parasol out... ready for the really hot days this week... It's probably going to be too hot for me to do much this week...
This was tortured... I almost couldn't find the place today...

Next doors tulip tree is absolutely covered in flowers at the moment... they don't show up much from a distance... but we had lunch near it today... and close-up they are beautiful...

An old friend messaged me today... she wants to join the re-union WhatsApp group... it'll be amazing to see her again... we still send Christmas and birthday cards... and occasional letters... but haven't actually seen each other for over 30 years...

My favourite London friends have had babies... I always go say hello to the pelicans when I go to London... Now there are 10...😮
