My katydid has a curled ear too! But she was born with it. In her baby pictures it’s completely folded over. But I think this is as straight as it’ll ever get.

I have one of those! Every year I train a few trustworthy 5th graders on how to use it safely. Then when they finish their artwork they can just go cut paper for me for the other classes.
A snake! It was a big one stretched across the road. Fastest I’ve ever skid to a halt. My brain hasn’t forgotten and is hyper vigilant of every maybe snake (stick) we come across.
