I’ve spent hours and HOURS on this. I wanted to have it published as a children’s book when I finished. And now it’s ruined.
Anyway. I’m going to get on my bike and go for a long ride to the mall. Get myself the new calico cat palm pal plush. And either some auntie Anne’s or a Bundt cake. Maybe both. If the cash will stretch.
I’m so ANGRY and sad and just want to scream. I’ve managed to save all the crochet stuff after yesterday’s storm. I did loose about 20 prints/drawing total from water damage. But in my backpack was the book I about Katydid. I thought I had saved it in time. I didn’t.
Welp. All us vendors at the farmers market saw the approaching dark clouds. We added our tarp walls and staked down the canopies. My canopy was the first to flip. The wind grabbed it and was determined to steal it away while I tried to hold on.
Where oh where could Katydid be?
I wore my jellyfish dress. The bride months ago looked through all the dresses I have and wear to work, and picked that one. Mom also let me borrow great great grandma Eunice’s pin.
My brother is officially married! My job was to make sure all the details for the ceremony room were correct. Then after the ceremony I swapped that room over to the reception room. My dad hand built the arbor thing they stood under. He also wore his air force blues and officiated the wedding.
