Recreating some really old personal character art. One made during grade-school 1997's DBZ fandom by a friend which I went ahead and embellished myself later (yellow alien, named "Choppo"), and the other an additional character from my university cartooning era--(darkling, named "Vesper").

The stats are cringe, and they were sandwiched in between other cards like "Bon Homme de Neige", "Earl the Incontinent Polar Bear", and "Genie of The Spitoon", so you know this was a deeply serious game. 😂 Anyway, I love them.
Choppo was inspired by "what if Piccolo was yellow", and Vesper is inspired by "what if a sentient piece of a blackhole escaped its event horizon and could take shape at will".
I did these from memory, so I'm recalling Choppo's OG version was way, way more manga-like, and I think I need to see if I can still find any old sketchbooks with his facial features to come to a closer approximation.
Whelp, I have a version of Choppo (and friends) in a barely play tested card game I made, and boy did he have more forehead than I remembered, lol.
I remember painstakingly making these (there's like 60+ more of these off to the side).
