Watching Trump continue to rail against losing the 2020 election, claiming he was cheated and the election was rigged, gives me some seriously strong Gondorff/Lonegan vibes from The Sting.
Is Trump so fixated he got cheated because he, in fact, was convinced he had it won because he cheated?
I agree with this. Keaton has been the ONLY actor that brings forth the fundamental emotional damage of Bruce Wayne’s childhood trauma, a seething hate targeted at criminals, and just barely under control beneath the surface. Keaton can emote Wayne’s essence of a man hiding a psychotic snap.
