Had a great time at the tribute to Clem Burke at the Bowery Palace last night! Organized by Kathy Valentine of the Go-Go's - singing here with the hastily assembled Clembake, along with Gina Volpe (Lunachicks), Gail Greenwood (Belly, L7, Gang of Four) and Linda Pitmon (literally every other band).
My final visit with Dinosaur before she leaves the High Line 30th St. plinth. I hope people think a little differently about the humble pigeon after seeing this majestic super-sized version by sculptor Ivan Argoté.
