Anyone who argues that Democrats should move to the right on their most popular political issue either has no understanding of abortion politics, or is anti-abortion themselves.

Of course you could believe that the left is growing more extreme and then the center would drift leftwards, but only if this movement outpaced the rise of the far right in the US. I don't find that credible.
Worth a read. Many have taken note of the growing solidarity in the science community in opposition to the OMB proposed rule. But this must be just the start.
For an example, we can look to @sekahn.bsky.social, Justin Ryder & co who spoke up at ADA and were removed for it.
