Birring is required to not communicate with Povah, but Povah continues to post on Birring's Facebook profile 🤷♀️ (Povah goes by "Errol Peters" on Facebook.)
You can also join me & speak at the public hearing on June 23!
Kristopher Kamienik faced similar charges in 2023/2024 for anti-2SLGBTQIA+ graffiti & the theft of a Pride flag in North Vancouver. These acts were deemed motivated by hate. It will be interesting to see if hate is considered a factor in Birring's case.

The GVRDEU workers who keep the Grouse Grind maintained & trail users safe have been without a contract since December 2024. How shameful, Metro Vancouver.
Solidarity with GVRDEU ✊ There are many hikes to hike that don't involve crossing a picket line.

Birring & Povah both attended their anti-2SLGBTQIA+ protest at Fraser Heights Secondary on Friday, June 5. Birring & Povah plan to spend all of June rallying against queer & trans rights at Surrey schools.
Birring is currently required to not enter the area of the crosswalk at University Dr & Old Yale Rd.
Co-organizer Errol Povah wrote "Black Lines Matter" on the crosswalk but for some reason he was not charged.
According to social media posts, Amrit Birring has been charged with mischief over $5000 [s 430(3) of the CCC] over the weekend for defacing a Pride crosswalk in Surrey on May 30 as a protest against anti-2SLGBTQIA+ people. He is required to appear in court on July 28.
