Sum of what irritates me most about this is that there is actually a place for this standard and it is a place that does not get considered enough. No one‘s novel is that place, no one is gonna die because they found your novel too difficult to go on with.
I would give money I do not even have yet though for clear, precise descriptions on medical equipment that doesn’t require visual references to be understandable.
And two complicated truths can exist simultaneously. Accessibility is bigger than necessity or it should be. Not everything is going to be accessible to everyone and that’s sometimes hard when you are outside of the group a thing is accessible to, but also not an indictment of that thing.
