you touch on so much that occupies my thoughts about drag. drag so often colours how transness is seen as (as said in the article) it's often the default/easy example of transness at Pride, on TV etc. transness becomes something you are assumed to be able to "take off" because drag is just that.

And I have watched and not done watching people give what they can and more and have it not be enough. then walk away in desperate self preservation and they are not monsters for that or not more monstrous than the system forces us all to be and still it has a cost and I am the one who pays
I have finally read the puppy girl article and I have such such complicated feelings about that. like as someone who currently desperately needs more support than any of my friends and partners are able to provide, and than is available in the place we are and also who cannot need less.
