I love how ridiculous our artist went with Turxx. The razor blades on the gun. The bullet cases…everywhere. And my favorite detail, the entire toolkit strapped to his shins. In our lore, the self-appointed shamans have a holier than thou connection to the monolith. Turxx is the utilitarian brute.
Turxx was the first piece of Monolith art I saw. This still slaps so hard. Some musings: John Blanche’s 40K art was a touchstone for me in thinking about this design. His absurd and nasty depiction of power (especially the β€˜good guys’) was key to 40k working as satire.
