Edinburgh Council have informed us they have closed the Walkway at Kinauld Tan Works Footbridge (Approx. Location: w3w.co/minute.guise...) as a hole has appeared in the bridge. There is no through route over this bridge in either direction .
It will be closed all weekend diversion via lanark rd,
Edinburgh just isn’t building stuff of this quality - the planting, sustainable drainage, kerbs, surface etc.

🚲 more bikes allowed in parking zones (eg Waverley) where the is loads of space
See North Berwick this week - where locals have vandalised parking meters and proclaimed the death of the high street because parking charges were introduced. But inevitably the sky won’t fall in.
Variations of the scheme below could be Stockbridge, Gorgie, The Shore or Bruntsfield.
