All jokes at WW's expense aside, the world of academic nutrition really does have *a lot* to answer for in helping to create a non-trivial amount of health/nutrition misinformation, and a little introspection would be welcome.
They are doing the thing now with "ultra-processed foods", which will also pass, and then they will do the next thing and the next thing, all while nothing about public health nutrition changes because the largest barriers to progress rest on policy and implementation, not new knowledge
Tbh if we just banned all social media for all ages, the world would probably be a happier place 🤷 I - for one - would certainly have a lot more time on my hands!
