Any ideas how we encourage our remaining friends / organisations off X? If they haven't left yet, it's hard to know what else will encourage them. But, their complicity is what gives Musk the platform to do this sort of thing.

Has anyone else noticed a trend for researchers to 'publish' their research as non peer-reviewed 'reports' on their institutional websites? Sometimes they're accompanied by press-releases and get reported in the news - like this report 'published by UCL' www.nuffieldfoundation.org/wp-content/u...

If you're an organisation and you're still posting on X, then delete your values statements, your inclusivity policies, and basically anything that claims that people/truth/integrity matter to you. They're worthless. We can all see your true values.

There are, in my view, 25 things everyone needs to understand in light of recent events: 1) Those out in our communities last night were not protestors, but organised far right extremists. 2) Their actions align with fascist ideologies. 3) So yes: these are fascist practices on our streets. 🧵

I've been a broken record on this for three years and I'll be a broken record for as long as that fucking website exists: X is a viciously racist far-right organising platform that ONLY WORKS because a huge number of centrists, lefties and progressivs cannot stop propping it up
